Kid Carpet is one of those potty lads who's inventive enough to make
records in his old bedroom with whatever he find laying around. Well it sounds
like that anyway. His new single (Shiny Shiny New) sounds like it's been made with egg cartons,
wood, tins of paint and some cheese. It's kind of charming in a lo fi indie way
pretending to be all big rock. And it's on 2 x 7" as well. Christ. What
will they think of next?
