On Trash Aesthetics (REMEMBER: these people brought you Bloc Party) we have a
new 7" by The Tailors. Not sure this lot are gonna be the next thing but
they could forge a niche somewhere in the alt country world. The A side sounds
very much like Bonnie Prince Billy with warmer arrangements. I keep on thinking
about The Rockingbirds when listening to this. It sounds like quite traditional
alt country stuff with steel guitars and cracked vocals. I'm sure these lot have
heard a few Gram Parsons records in their time. Numbered and limited to
500 in a really nice screen printed sleeve featuring a puss cat (very Tindersticks...)
