Here is Souvaris with a 12" that comes on all Bark Psychosis or Slowdive (last album only) performing one of them twangy Tortoise instrumentals. Will also appeal to fans of Mogwai/Sigur Ros but is miles ahead of the usual post rock sludge. It sounds brilliant - really full and there's some tremendous drumming. The other side is a more Rachel's/Philip Glass type piano repetition filled out with your post rock guitar doodlings. Like Sierpinski meets The Workhouse.

What their label says...

vor (band member April2001-October2003) and Paul Ackroyd. Loads of copies still available due to laughable mix-up between Telesphere and the distributors. Artwork is slightly fucked and insert is definitely fucked, so we went back to the drawing board for the CD re-release. People still write to us to tell how they like to fall asleep/have a smoke/have (presumably slow and extremely meaningful) sex to this record. We assume they haven't found the secret end to "Looking for Excuses" which features the vocal talents of Messrs Simson, Stockwell and Layton engaged in a petty squabble over playing with toys. A mature debut indeed.
