The Breeders took some time off from their heavy drug taking schedule
to record a new album which must have made 4AD very happy. Very
Very happy indeed. Engineered, recorded, produced however you want to
say it by Steve (no Job is too small) Albini. The first
Breeders album is one of my favourite albums ever. The Last Splash
I wasn't as keen on apart from the odd track (namely Cannonball). Anyway
this is more like Pod and it's actually a really good album. Quite sparse
and edgey but with good tunes. Downtempo but Albini loud if you know what
I mean. Am sure you won't be disappointed. They say the 3rd album is tricky.
Well take loads of drugs cos it did The Breeders no harm. Title TK is top fun....
