So what the heck has happened to Diefenbach? The post
rockin' Danes have gone all blissed out alt-radio rock on We Love You's Crimbo
7" bumper pack (Yule Love Us - arf). Not a bleat of Mogwai in sight. Just
sounds like a shoe-gazey Mew style/Euro Slowdive thing. Not at all bad to be honest but hella
confusing for the likes of Fat Barry who once released a record by the sweet
bacon producing chaps. I really can't be arsed reviewing Shawn Lee, but The Girls sound like a acid-riffing/glam-er-ama
fair prospect (these are the label's new signings ready to be splashed all over the NME @ a
newsagents near you...) Fakesensations sound, well, fake! (didn't even play it
to be honest, not with a shat name like that.....hehehe)
