Clinic, those masked scoundrels from the land of the Scouse return with a
splendid long player, 'Winchester Cathedral'. Unlike Prodigy who are incapable
of breaking any new ground , this merry bunch of
voodoo minimalists DON'T NEED TO! That's right. It's more of the same. And what
did you expect one of the most distinctive sounding indie bands EVER to go &
do? Eh? EH? "Go Breakcoregabbagrimejungle with a flamenco disco twist? Fuck
off. They're Clinic, I love 'em, Clint hates 'em & that's the way it should
be. Like Little & Large dividing a crammed pantomime down the middle &
getting the audience on one side to say "Yay" & t'other to say
"Nay". Splitting the music world right down the middle like a big
melon. Oh & one track has a piano just like Roxy Music apparently (thanx,
Fat) On Domino who must be rich as fuck by now.
