The wife likes Lucky Pierre. To me he sets his casio pre-set on stun then
whacks a load of orchestral samples over the top and buggers off down the pub.
Good on him I say, everyone falls for it. It does sound ok sometimes. This
new 7" called Total Horizontal could be stretching the idea a little far. Its pleasant enough but
doesn't really do anything - just drifts along some nice bits of guitar and
horns and stuff. Phil likes this - he says it sounds like the theme to
'Tales of the Unexpected'. He's off his bloody rocker. On Melodic.
