Remember Donna Matthews from Elastica? The panda eyed beauty
who was the quiet foil to Justine Frischmann's skinny tie new wave sneer?
Well her band Klang have an 8 track mini album thing out & guess
what? It's bloody great that's what. Like somewhere between the criminally
underrated Snowpony & a lo-fi, less 60s Broadcast. Loose,
smoky drumming, simple bass rhythms, minimalist post punk guitar lines, organic Lali
Puna-isms & new wave folkish lullabies. You can clearly hear the myriad
influences that this talented 3 piece have taken on board, yet they've forged a
fresh, warm sound all of their own. Fabulous. No Sound Is Heard is on CD & vinyl on Blast First
