The thing I always liked about Sophia is the fact that the main
dude behind 'em is called Robin Proper- Sheppard. How good is
that??? The nice Sheppard man has a single out on 7"/CD (seems
to be the choice of formats this week). This really reminds me of Wheat!
Not the ingredient you make bread with but the band from a few years ago
like. I like this a lot. Have not been exposed to much Sophia over
the years and I don't know how representative this is of their sound but
it's a blinding tuneful romp of a thing. It chugs along in a commercial,
catchy way as good as anything else you'll hear this week. This is proper
good Robin....
