Excitement time. Its the new split single on the ever excellent Awkward Silence. First up is Lusine ICL who do a drifty spacey type thing with interesting dubby bass and cut up vocals. Builds very nicely with lots of echo and tape delay. Hints of early Fridge. On t'other side is The Buddy System who do a similarly laid back tune with lashings and lasings of lovely gently picked guitar. Highly recommended.
