'YosepH' is the new Luke Vibert album on Warp. Along with
LFO & Plaid, he's one of the old guard making a comeback
in these over-saturated times we live in where every Tom, Dick & Barry
is making lackluster tunes in a will-this-do vein. On first listen It's a
mixed bag, some real highlights being 'Synthax', all jaunty, elastic
rythyms & bouncy beats, & 'Acidisco', a more chilled acid hip-hop-esque
odyssey. Overall, a bit like a Wagon Christ LP sans the comedy
samples. Perfectly satisfactory.
