Now for my treat of the week. Pretty Girls Make Graves
have their new album out on Matador & I for one am most pleased.
Pitched somewhere between At The Drive In & the tight, catchy,
spiky indie created by Sleater-Kinney, it makes for invigorating
& exiting listening. Named after a Smiths song & soon to be
my new favourite band. Beyond indie or emo, these guys & gal straddle
both genres like a large purring tiger. Grrrr! 'The New Romance' is out on
CD/LP
