If someone can write in and explain to me in less than 200 words the appeal of Herman Dune I'd be most grateful. They are one of those bands that seem quite popular but I've hated pretty much everything I've heard them do and its not that it isn't my kind of thing I just think its not very good. They  kind of sound like a shameless Will Oldham rip off crossed with a shameless Jonathan Richman rip off and (I don't know why I think this) Dire Straits. Yep they remind me of Dire Straits. Anyway they have a new album out called Mos Cambios on Track and Field and it does nought for me I'm afraid.

Love this record? Hate it? Tell us.
