Next up is Brian Whiskey 37 which is a split between another Leeds
band Lo Casta and The Telescopes. The Lo Casta track
is gorgeous with a beautiful chugging beat, My Bloody Valentine
esque guitar and keyboards (really does remind me of MBV), melodicas,
theremins, double bass once more and alsorts of general craziness. A fantastic
instrumental to soothe yourself with. On the flipside is a track by The
Telescopes. You may remember them from their days on Creation
but after a 6 year gap they're back with a new tune. It's a very dark
sounding moogy instrumental pitched somewhere between Add N To X,
Suicide and Gallon Drunk after a mental night out. Blinding.
