‘Mallory’ is the new single to come from The History of Apple Pie. It is their second release on Roundtable Records and it follows on from the sold out limited edition debut release ‘You’re So Cool’.
The new single continues with their trademark sound of beautiful double-tracked female vocals and harmonies, but is backed by an altogether, enhanced, heavier guitar sound. Lyrically, ‘Mallory’ is for any girl or guy that has ever felt lost, afraid or confused but found some kind of hope. The words in the song represent the journey forward and can be applied to anyone. The track builds throughout towards a guitar climax that acts as a massive, final defiance aimed at anyone and everyone that’s ever brought you down and an ode to hope.
