Well, this lot were always mildly popular on the fringes. Sort of poppy baroque indie. They had a vocalist with the most curious of voices if I remember rightly. Now they've simply turned into Arcade Fire. No really. They have totally BECOME Arcade Fire. Arcade Fire are now officially OUT OF A JOB. Oi Canadians! GET DAHN the job centre. Oh actually, they're not open today. But you could always busk outside and earn yersen a few pennies that way. Go on, you could dress like Dexy's Midnight Runners. This is totally worth buying for the elaborate flag which wraps the whole package up that everyone in this office thinks resembles a tea towel. Kind of makes up for the uber-dire B-side anyway, these lot were always concentrating on the grand designs over the quality of the music.....

What their label says...
Individually signed and numbered (500), white label 7" single tied inside a The Strange Death Of Liberal England flag with a button badge. The Strange Death Of Liberal England follow their recent ‘Flagships’ digital release and UK tour dates with a first release proper from their forthcoming album, ‘Drown Your Heart Again’ and more dates in the UK. ‘Rising Sea’ is one of the standout tracks from an album of that incorporates the massed presence of the Richard P Horn Youth Orchestra alongside the band, creating a new take on orchestral pop. Having made waves with their emergence in 2007 and a string of well received singles alongside the mini album ‘Forward March’, the band disappeared from public view with the exception of one, all seated, orchestral show at their home town’s Portsmouth Royal Theatre. Having hooked up with producer David M Allen (The Cure, Depeche Mode) to record the tracks that form their debut album, the band’s first return to the limelight was as support to Editors throughout the UK in March of this year.
