• ‘Rules Don’t Stop’ sees We Are Scientists return to the stripped down, three-piece arrangement that characterized their gold-selling debut ‘With Love & Squalor’, but with a few new tricks. Keith Murray’s guitar tone, eerily organ-like, will surely arouse accusations of "black magic" and "devil craft", but is in fact the result of hundreds of hours spent tweaking effects knobs, and a handshake deal with an ethical sorcerer. Chris Cain's bass groove will again give listeners the "snake in the pants" sensation they've come to expect from this band. And on the drums, a new not-so- secret weapon joins the band, in the form of ex-Razorlight skinsman Andy Burrows, who’s tom tom work alone will leave rhythm enthusiasts gasping for air, then, once they've caught their breath, texting other rhythm nerds they know.
• With ‘Rules Don’t Stop’, We Are Scientists announce the arrival of what is destined to be the monster rock album of 2010, ‘Barbara’, which was recorded in NYC, London and Los Angeles, and will be released later in the year.
