I've been enjoying the recent Errors stuff as they have departed a little from a standardised post-rock sound and deviated into more upbeat, disco/Krautrock territory. 'Rumour in Africa' sounds like mid era New Order type indie disco number with those thin guitar lines and heavy synth lines. B-side 'Beat the Bookies' is a little more brooding but uses similar tricks to convey it's message with the influence of early electronic stuff is still totally evident. All in all, this is pretty tasteful stuff and it's contained within seven inches of Rhubarb and Custard coloured vinyl. Sweet.
