Hmmmmmm… What to say about this Vivian Girls single??? A sugar sweet little summer pop number with the girls doing some lovely vocal harmonies, nice lo-fi production and cool organ solo. Clocks in at one second under two minutes but still manages to hit the spot. Summer pop that'll make you wanna don some bermuda shorts and get sand all over your nuts while you devour a slush puppy on the beach. I used to love the blue ones… Hey the Vivian Girls… We love e'm, you love 'em… You know the drill!

What their label says...
Fresh from their totally sold out UK tour of the past couple of weeks, the Vivian Girls unleash another killer tune, well two of them actually on a brand new single on their own label.....The single shows the Girls moving towards a more Spector-esque recording approach and showcases their intricate harmonies. Recorded in Brattleboro, VT with Kyle Thomas of Happy Birthday and King Tuff, who, incidentally, also plays guitar on the B-side - a cover of the Chantels' "He's Gone." Vivian Girls released their 2nd album, Everything Goes Wrong via the wonderful In The Red label last September and, over the last year, the Girls have toured the US, Europe, Japan and Australia, received a considerable amount of national and international press, and showing no signs of slowing down. One of the hardest working bands in America, the Vivian Girls continue to tour heavily whilst working on Wild World and recording new material.
