Rick Tomlinson's back, this time with Chris Walmsley on drums and Rory Gibson on bass as Voice Of The Seven Thunders. Our Phil here is somewhat of a Voice Of The Seven woods fan and he's reliably informed me that this 'The Burning Mountain' 7" is comparable with some of the 70's rock/ Led Zepplin sounding tracks off the previous album. I was taken by surprise actually as I was expecting some meditative raga type gear. This is pretty full on rocking from start to finish. The flip 'Dry Leaves (Alt Version)' is what I had expected, soulful and stripped down. A very nice contrast between the A and B sides. Limited and out on Tchantiler.
