The xx were extremely popular in 2009 and 2010 it seems the popularity continues. They have another 7" out in those letter X die cut sleeves. This one: 'VCR' is lifted from the debut long player which many of you will be more than familiar with so I'll not waste your time or mine. Basically it's stripped down, moody boy/girl indiepop. The flipside is brand spanking new number 'Insects' which is I guess kind of typical of their sound. A fine addition to the xx collection. Could you tell I had no idea what to write about that? Was clutching at straws and managed to cobble together 5 lines including this one...
