What their label says...

Vitalic returns with the massive new single ‘Poison Lips’, taken from the critically lauded new
album ‘Flashmob’, already getting big support from Zane Lowe at Radio 1, amongst others.

Vitalic may have been laying low since he unleashed the untrammelled
might of the classic ‘OK Cowboy’, but he certainly has been anything but
idle. Indeed, from the sounds of his critically lauded new album,
‘Flashmob’, it sounds like he has been sharpening his skills to a knife edge,
honing his instincts for a killer melody and equally potent beats, and
basically kicking his whole enterprise up several notches or so.

‘Poison Lips’, the second single from the record, is a stormer of an electro
song that encapsulates perfectly the new phase of Vitalic – a little leaner, a
little meaner, but lightly dusted with some gorgeously sultry, breathy female
vocals to lend the whole affair an air of debauched glamour and mystery.

The B-side features the unreleased track ‘Bluesy Tuesday’, a phenomenal
melodic track with a solid build up leading you to a crispy atmosphere.

Available on limited edition picture disc 12” (500 copies) and digital
download.

“Leaves the listener purring with pleasure” – Uncut, “Like the sound of
Justice making gritty, electronic love to Blondie on the floor of some glitzy
Parisian disco…” – iDJ, “It is pretty much perfect” – Vice, “Current, crisp,
electronic music…addictive electro!” – Mixmag, “Once again, his use of
synthesised instruments makes the emotion of his music even more
conspicuous.” – The Times, “Beneath this cool, crystalline surface, there’s a
thrillingly wild rumpus going on” – Metro.
