If you blinked for more than a second you may have missed the first two Flying Lotus LA EP's so here is your chance to snaffle the 'L.A. EP 3X3' 7 track remix mini album thing. There are two brand new original tracks: 'Endless White' and 'Spin Cycles' the first of which is a beat-less construction or possibly reduction but it's a swirling tune with what sounds like little micro digital birdies tweeting while a soulful female vocal hovers like a spiritual entity never clearly singing. It's like going down a wonderful plug-hole and into the ether while this seemingly familiar soul track rotates in your mind. There are remixes on this here A side from Matthew David and Dimlite. Then do a flip for Take's remix and then the 'Spin Cycles' track is kind of a backwards variation on Endless White. 'Breakage remixes "Testament' adding a more booming cavernous feel but keeping the vox in there. I have no idea who Rebekah Raff is but she does a good job with her mix of 'Aunties Harp' keeping the original harp sounds sounding all pretty whilst also offering a slightly sinister edge to the production.

LA according to The Guardian, and personally asked by Radiohead to remix the
single ‘Reckoner’.

‘L.A. EP 3 X 3’ is the third of three strictly-limited 12”s in the LA EP series which
make such a fascinating accompaniment to the ‘Los Angeles’ album, with artwork
taken from the same sessions.

‘L.A. EP 2 X 3’ includes remixes from Take, Breakage, Dimlite, Matthew David
and Rebekah Raff.

‘LA EP 1 X 3’ sold out almost immediately on its release in June, and ‘LA EP 2 X 3’
even quicker. Collectors will be itching to complete the set – it won’t be
around for long.

The EP is timed perfectly to follow major Brainfeeder events in Barcelona and
London, as well as the release of a simply stunning video.
