Jeniferever release their debut album proper on Drowned In Sound as a limited
edition apparently. They're quite an unusual band to be honest. They seem to have similar
ingredients as a lot of bands but they've got an odd mixture which makes them
sound a little bit different. There's bits of Hood, Mew, Sigur Ros and Mum all
there mixed up which is a wierd combination all in but it kind of works.
Possibly like putting some cucumber into a fruit smoothie which you may think will
just ruin it but it bizarrely adds an extra taste dimension you just wouldn't have dreamt
of. So this is deadly post rock with a poppy edge if you need it in a nutshell.

What their label says...
"Jeniferever is a four-piece band from Uppsala, Sweden. They have previously released four EPs and one album since 2002, and have played over 250 live shows across Europe. Over the years, they have gained an ever-growing band of admirers, who have bestowed descriptions such as ‘lush’, ‘melodic’, ‘swooping’, ‘glacial’, ‘beautiful’, ‘shimmering’, ‘sublime’, ‘electrifying’ and ‘atmospheric’ on their music.
The air of unimposing melancholy that hangs over much of Choose a Bright Morning makes it the type of album that’s totally forgettable. If you give much less than total concentration, several songs can merge into one and pass by without notice. But with a little bit of effort, Choose a Bright Morning will reveal itself as an album filled with rewards."
