YES!!! More TY Segall!!! And this is split with Thee Oh Sees too!! Alright! 'Maria Stacks' by TY Segall is awesome slice of garage rock nostalgia. It's an up-tempo stomper with bonus female backing vocals which makes it sound very much like the Thee Oh Sees, though a little rougher around the edges. This guys got hella riffs and an amazing vocal delivery, I urge you to check him out. 'The Drag' by Thee Oh Sees is a bit of slow starter but when it finally gets going it's a top tune. The reverberation and delay is wildly out of control on this recording and the riff is suitably ramshackle 'Stepping stone'-esq riff, we are even treated to a frenzied mini-solo. Oh yeah!!! Worth mentioning the amazing artwork and the ICE BLUE colored vinyl.
