Golden Silvers sound like they should be on the soundtrack to GTA: Vice City, it's a total 80's throwback but in a kind of good way. There's a touch of Morrissey in his crooning, some appallingly cheesy synths and that weird sounding clunky cod-funk bass that couldn't sound more white it it tried. 'Arrows of Eros' was out on Young and Lost Club and is now reissued on XL!

Golden Silvers will release their brilliant new single ‘Arrows Of Eros’ on 15th June. The single comes on the back of their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘True Romance’, which was released in April on XL Recordings.
Guitar-free, psychedelic and literate, Golden Silvers deal in huge, unabashed melodies, inspirational songwriting and dashing, groove-laden pop, of which Arrows Of Eros is a prime example. Produced by Lexxx (Crystal Castes, Esser) and available on 7” vinyl and download, this is a brand new recording of the track that first brought Golden Silvers to peoples attention when it was released on London’s über-cool Young & Lost label last year.
Meanwhile, following a recent UK tour with Florence & The Machine, and their own headline show at London’s ICA, Golden Silvers will continue to wow crowds throughout the summer. As well as their monthly Bronze Club night, the band are set to play festivals throughout summer.
