The Wave Pictures next with 'Watching Charlie's Angels' which is what I'd rather be doing right now. This is one of those mundane observations of everyday life type tunes that some folks find endearing. I however don't. I'm reminded a lot of Darren Hayman and Phil has just declared that "They really are the new Hefner". I was flabbergasted at the Brian May style solo too. 7" on Acuarela. It has a B-side but I dare not play it.

What their label says...
David Tattersall, Franic Rozycki Jonnie Helm know what it is like to spend a Friday night at the pub of any London suburb. It is something they love to talk about in their songs as The Wave Pictures. Songs which portray the awkwardness of love, expressed in the confessional tone with which Tattersall approaches each of his lyrics. This young English band’s 7” displays their more incisively pop side (not far from the classics featured in "Instant Coffee Baby") in two irresistible and previously unreleased tracks.
