TY Segall is one of those garage rock dudes who likes the one man band style of playing guitar, singing and plying drums all at the same time. He keeps himself real busy yo. TY is also aligned with the whole Thee Oh sees, Sic Alps, garage rock enthusiasts that seem to be making the rounds at the moment, this is a taster of what to expect from the full length L.P released later in the year. 'Cents' is a slow burner with a tough riff and a crazed howl of a vocal line. B-side 'No no' is a straight up punky number with more top riffs and reverberant goodness. 'Standing at the station' is a slightly spookier groove with some falsetto vocal harmonies and primitive tub-thumping, this is my favorite of the three tracks. Totally amazing shit yo!
