Am liking the new DJ Food single on Ninja Tune. It comes in a nice double sleeve poster thing (designed by Henry Flint of 2000AD fame) with a sticker on the inside with a download code on. That way you can listen to a shit version of the record as well. Great! Everyone's a winner! It's a 5 track EP called 'One Man’s Weird Is Another Man’s World' and it features half of The Broken Keys (not sure if that's Broken or Keys....) and a remix by Bundy K Brown of ex Tortoise fame (he's come out his shell now...). The lead track really reminds me of a track from David Holmes Bow Down To The Exit Sing album. It's a top track! In fact the whole EP is awash with crashing drums and samples and general upbeat shenanigans. I was genuinely surprised at how good this was when I heard it. The B side has a proper good long track called A Trick of The Ear which is a spaced out groove fest along the lines of Tipsy. It's a proper upbeat party record. Well worth checking out!!
