Also Jus Wan has one out on Naked Lunch. It's sounds decent and all. If you liked his Apple pips 12" then 'Submersiv' may satisfy the hunger for new material from this producer that's only had a handful of releases. Although having said that the 'Apple Pips' 12" is superior in my opinion. The second tune is darn funky, lots of effects little breakdowns and plenty of dubby effects. The Scuba mix sound good too with a mid tempo 4/4 and lots of underwater delay and reverb. Brett reckons the bass needs to be higher. He wants to live inside a bassbin you see, he is the bassmaster. I can imagine them spinning this one around Berlin.

Love this record? Hate it? Tell us.

I’m quiet happy to have this release in my possession, I have waited for the Scuba remix of submersive for nearly a year now

And it was worth the wait, At last a “dubstep” track that sounds like DUB and Scuba has pushed the boat out on this one.

Loads of reverb on the snare and a massive bass that is so clear and un-distorted it sounds like it came from one of king tubbys own homemade valve amps

Combined with a stepping 4/4 beat this one will stay in my bag for ages. The juswan tracks are pretty special also , the original of submersive take me back to pre 2005 dubstep when it was Strictly about beats and bass and QB41 with its shuffling breaks and clever bassline which is clearly a nod to Mobb Deeps “ trife life” the whole 12” adds up to a serious package.

What their label says...

You all know the drill by now with these bloody promo blurbs - a short hagiography on the producer, a badly punctuated
run down of the tracks on offer followed by a list of DJ's who are supposedly "supporting" them. The same old, same old shite you've
been reading ever since you first spent your week's pocket money on some gash white label the crusty old dude with the dreads and
the wonky teeth palmed off on you the first time you set foot in a record shop all those years ago. In fact here at NAKED LUNCH HQ
we pride ourselves on doing things differently, we believe this ethos shines through every aspect of our work, from the music we
release to the sleeves we release it in. Don't like it? Then it's probably not for you in the first place. THE FUTURE IS NAKED."
