What their label says...
Having never entered the concept single arena, Richard Youngs now offers to the world the double a-sided 'No Recovery'/'You Don't'. This is one man's take on sleep deprivation, a five minute distillation of that unhappy state. Recorded in December 2006 using sound waves ring modulated and filtered, it is also perhaps the weirdest entry in the Youngs' canon. Imagine Stockhausen's 'Gesang Der Jungling' minus the vocal channeled with a no-wave sensibility. Insomnia never sounded so good. Packaging • Clear limited edition lathe 7 inch in black envelope • Four screen printed natural card inserts • Letterpressed chipboard Arigato Pak with offset printing • Heavy jute (hessian) sleeve/wallet • Screen printed obi strip Note, this record has no centre label. Side A is only distinguishable by feeling for the small notch placed close to the centre hole.
