This week we've got about a million releases on the Blackest Rainbow label. We thought we'd cover as many as possible. Here's a new LP by Mechanical Children which is 2 thirds of Jazzfinger so they're technically Jazzfing. Which sounds a bit shit so I can see why they went down the Mechanical Children route... mind you they could have mixed it up a bit and called 'em self Fingerzz. Quite like that.... keep an eye out for releases by Fingerzz! I Rise To Cover All is based around broken keyboards and listening to it they don't sound right well. It's walls of harsh dark noise jams which are nothing but intense. Buried underneath are trinkets of melody but in essence this is a big motherfucking noise record and if you like them you'll love this total intense noise fest. Not for the faint hearted... in fact it should come with some sort of warning... If you buy this we'll know how hard you are and likewise if you don't buy it then you're some sort of wuss. Bully tactics to sell records. I ain' t never done that before Elijah.

Debut vinyl release from this new duo that makes up two thirds of Jazzfinger (Ben Jones and Sarah Sullivan). Based around the idea of used broken keyboards, Ben and Sarah make some totally fucked and pretty heavy noise jams, there's some searing moments in this beast, particularly across the two part 'Burning of the Light Fields' which spans all side A, and most of side B... the closer is 'Planatary Wasp', which pretty much would be what Jeff Goldblum would have sounded like if he'd turned into some kind of rancid badass wasp instead of that pussy fly! Turn it up and get ready for your neighbors to come knocking with an ASBO for ya. Limited to 300.
