Please, please me! This is hella gratifying post punk/psych/garage/prog mayhem if ever I heard it!! The three tracks on The Shame stomp about the room shamelessly, dripping in reverb and filth, foaming at the mouth with bug-eyed glee jumping from one leg to the other. Drums gallop triumphantly, guitars duel it out with joyful enthusiasm and vocals dance abound the tracks with reckless bravado. The Shame is the first release from both Ouse records and Please and its an excellent start for them both. YES!!

What their label says...

"Please clean out the stable of 60s and 70s out-there rock, prog and psych and sweep those elements into fresh and gratifying song chunks, full of clattering drums, eccentric vocal styles and dueling feudal system riffs.
The songs trot between garagey jangle, stomping glam sludge and heinously deformed world musics, maintaining a propulsive tug on your ear through their various structural twists and prismatic shifts.
These limited-to-500 10" EPs on Ouse are the first release from Please since they congealed in London a few years ago. A split long-player with Spin Spin the Dogs on Upset the Rhythm is in the pipes for the not-too-distant future."
