This split 7” Slow Down Tallahassee/Standard fare record comes with a FREE download code!!! YES!! Vinyl + download = future!! Slow Down Tallahassee play fuzzy, ecstatic indie pop with dark vocal undertones sung with unnervingly ecstatic delight. On the pure twist and shout pop of ‘Angel of death’ and the punk pop work out of ‘Trick’ I’m subjected to spite filled lyrical venom in it’s purest form ……it makes me chuckle. Standard Fare hit us up with a little love song about dancing called ‘Dancing’. The vocals are decent, like Debbie Harry if she’d fronted some 4AD band in the nineties. Ace!

What their label says...

Slow Down Tallahassee follow up their highly acclaimed debut album "The Beautiful Light" with new single "Angel Of Death"/"Trick". These two new songs continue to display their knack for perfectly fuzzy pop and the darker side of life.

Joining them on this release are the latest band to join Thee SPC roster, Standard Fare. They're a three piece fronted by Emma, who's soaring vocals are a mix of Isobel Campbell and Debbie Harry. Their debut release "Dancing" is a tale of broken relationships told to a delicious melody that's musically somewhere between the Lemonhead and Los Campesinos
