'My twin brother's a brother' is the new single by the cheekily named Ice, sea, dead people. Scrappy yet tightly wound riffage and art-punk sensibilities are the order of the day on this slab'o' 7" wax. It reminds me of Pulled Apart by Horses and a bunch of emerging new bands that are monkeying with the art-punk format to their own twisted ends. It is my humble opinion that there's not enough young, new bands out there who have a defiant, almost arrogant approach to making fucked-up loud music so hopefully Ice, Sea, Dead People will show those P.R. dudes and the hip kids in London town how its done, proper. Dodgy name, good single.
