I picked up the Tamaryn album because it's got gold embossed stuff on it and that makes it good 'cos if the music's shit you can spend hours rubbing it against yourself instead of listening to it. Luckily this job's not bad at all and if you really miss gothy, reverby indie from the 80s it's gonna be so far up your street you'll have ring the fire brigade to get it out. Imagine Stevie Nicks if she'd signed to 4AD and you won't be a million miles away.. Bit of Nico, bit of this, bit of that. Brian suggested Skeletal Family as another comparison and she definitely does sound well Leeds. Everything's really witchy today, I'm not sure what's going on. Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is on a couple of tracks if that floats your boat! Led Astray Washed Ashore is an LP on Troubleman.
