*Note - there's no decent picture of this sleeve about so we've put one up of them cuddling up to Thurston Moore/Chris Morris - Brett* Next on the ye olde wheel o' steel is a 4 track album from Pocahaunted on Troubleman. It's kind of mysterious and intriguing from the off, both beautiful and unsettling as the music paints images in my mind of the prelude to a sacrifice. So yeah it's dark but not in a shit yourself way. All the stuff I've heard by these ladies in kinda unmistakably them but each time they introduce something slightly different into their sonic brew. I find 'Passage' to be like an imaginary soundtrack, something that is echoed in the graphic design of the LP's sleeve. Their trademark ghostly angelic and indecipherable vocals are used sparingly but really add to the lost in the desert atmosphere of the album. I'd rather be lost in a desert though, like a big banoffie pie. It's also worth mentioning that this great LP features the dude from Sun Araw!!!
