If your ears have been tortured to within an inch of their lives by this weeks other Great Pop Supplement release then let them feast on this sunny slab of melodic 60's pop by The See See with their record called 'Keep your Head'. The A side is a breezy little pop number reminicent of those Elephant 6 types of the late '90's (Apples in Stereo, The Minders et al). The B side is.........more of the same....jangly guitars, chirpy melodies - anyone remember The Someloves? Thought not. Basically any band from the last 20 years that has severe 60's Byrds/Buffalo Springfield fixation and you are half way there. Features blokes out of Eighteenth Day of May and Soledad brothers & comes in nice wraparound sleeve.

What their label says...
The See See offer up their second 45, following the gps debut last year which saw 300 copies go in 4 days. "keep your head" continues the bands' nod to Big Star, the Byrds and the Buffalo Springfield. Big things expected from the band made up of ex- Eighteenth Day of May and Soledad Bros folks, alongside Pete Greenwood of recent "sirens" heavenly lp fame... ltd pressing not expected to hang around long...
