Thank Christ for Beck and his Dangermouse produced pop on XL. His new 7" 'Youthless' is more genius pop which after the last couple of things I've had to listen to makes me feel like things aren't too bad after all. OK so he's all into science and that... And he's a masive megastar and needs no help from us whatsoever but his tunes are like a breathe of fresh air. There's not been too much fresh air in the office this week... I'll tell you that. This is a funky tune which is making all of us move in some sort of way. Getting all us tapping our feet is an extremely hard task being we're all awkward bastards. Top pop.... If I was a giver of prizes I'd give Beck a Blue Peter badge or something. Me and the wife went to a fancy dress party at the weekend as zombies and scared the shit out of some kids. We won a prize as well for most original costume. That's the 1st thing I've won in about 20 years.... the last thing being a Prince Sign of The Times sweatshirt on Radio Aire!
