Helen Love have always made annoying pop and here's another 7" called Calm Down Dad. Sweet pop lyrics about the obvious age difference between growing up daughter and aging father and how the 2 just don't get on. Calm down dad indeed.... I can't wait to be like that. It's gonna rule. As far as perfect pop music goes this is probably as close as you can get. Hints of Dubstar in there over the novelty pop and it ends with some tinklings of the Clash's White Riot. Strangely enjoyable on first listen but I think one more listen may tip me over the edge and I'll be wanting to get on that bus with Brian.
