Vinyls, vinyls, vinyls. Come and get your vinyls for christmas. First up Cocoanut Groove (yes this is the correct spelling) with an album called 'Madeleine Street' on Fridlyst records..........and yippee its full of orchestral baroque pop that reminds me of The Left Banke, Love, The Zombies and particularly The Clientele. This is really lovely 60's influenced pop music that will also appeal to fans of The Shins and Belle and Sebastian. I can't wait til saturday when I can come in to work and hear this properly. You should see the chaos thats going on around me. Oh....yep so this is on vinyl but comes with a free CD so you can burn them all onto your i-pod and let your record player stay asleep.
