Swanton Bombs are a cool little duo, combing lo-fi Libertines/Strokesy licks & brittle indie pop touches over the course of 4 catchy as buggerflaps tracks that also endorse some plinky Boomtown Rats/Madness ivory bashing, notably on the second track (quite Squeezy) They sound well accomplished in the art of making joyous, anthemic knees ups that sound like lost radio hits, all with enough aplomb & soul to qualify as proper indie (rather than the hideous shite I had to start today off with) Playful and a bit odd, they're such nice lads they're giving away an entire fucking album 'Smoke Over Swanton' with this 4 tracker 'Mammoth Skull', on heavyweight 7" wax, the debut offering on Quiff records. So don't dilly-dally, silly billies, there's only 500 of this then THEY'RE GONE!
