Mount Eerie and No Kids have a split 7" out on Caff/Flick, a fat white vinyl jobber. The Mt. Eerie side is a subtle electronic ballad called 'Through the Trees' , wistful keyboard swells, hushed melancholy imbued vocals. A very tranquil piece full of yearning that may just save your life. A bit like the two puppies I found Phil cuddling this morning when I arrived through the door. They've since been re-homed with more responsible children. That leads me nicely onto No Kids. A perkier number that sounds like DIY indie bedroom soul and is quite charming. Sounds like they just discovered their sisters Prince collection but are a bit shy to admit they've stashed 'Controversy' under their bed. Cool.
