Pop pop pop pop music. It gets in your blood and yr hooked like a foot tapping crack addict. Those Dancing Days are 5 lovely ladies from Sweden and are bloody marvellous because they just so know how to make a distinctive & cracking indie pop album, brim full of irresistable hooks that make your neurons groove like mad. They've got this kinda classic retro sound that you imagine would sound wonderful on the radio. The blurb on the front mentions Blondie and Cocteau twins. Now Debs and co yes but this is fucking NOWT like the ethereal scots. 'In Our Space Hero Suits' is well frisky, hyper-pop, kinda lo-fi, the singer has a sultry, strong distinctive voice that will slay 1000s of young men & the music is like Electrelane on acid playing top 10 pop from another planet. Another loose reference is Canada's The Organ but like, tons happier & not Morrissey fixated. I love the keyboard, it sounds so beautifully cheap like they bought it at Rumbelows, the guitars chime & jangle and your spine tingles with satisfaction. Otherworldly indie pop from the last bastion of quality, Sweden, where they forge this stuff out of steel & flowers. Wicked! ALL COPIES COME WITH A FREE WICHITA SAMPLER!
