Ladytron are possibly gonna break into the big time with their new single 'Runaway'. It's got Helen's nihilistic cutesy vocals intoned over a dense, thumping soundtrack that is so late 80's Pet Shop Boys! I think Chris Lowe should get a cut of the proceeds. It's a catch bloody bugger too, although I think even finer tunes haunt the grooves of their blinding 'Witching Hour' opus. 'Velocifero' is a grower though with plenty of smash hits in waiting (in mine & Brett's alter-universe/bubble metropolis anyhow!!!) The remixes as always are totally unnessassary but are possibly designed for different branches of shoe shops around the globe :0) 7"/12" & CD (proper old school) in neon zebra sleeve that is as stylish as you'll never be!

OVERVIEW
Runaway is the second single to be taken from the acclaimed current album by Ladytron (Velocifero, released 2nd June). The long awaited return of this leading indie-electro group has seen rave reviews for the album and a sold out tour in May (including London Astoria). Following late summer UK festival dates, they tour Australia and mainland Europe before returning for a further 13 date UK/Eire tour in November (including London Shepherds Bush Empire).
