Last weeks single of the week champs, Brighton's Fujiya & Miyagi have their album 'Lightbulbs' out on LP and indie stores only ltd CD book pack with 2 bonus tracks. This is very decent pop music with integrity. Brian has piped up and declared that their sound is like a poppier Tarwater and Phil put his two pence in with a comparison to Air which I think is a very good reference point. The production is clean and polished with the bass in particular being quite prominent throughout the the album and reminding us of LCD Soundsystem. I particularly like the way the singer rhymes the words "pre-menstrual" with "instrumental".
