What their label says...
Starkey (Werk Discs, LoDubs, Dead Homies, Trouble & Bass) and his pal Dev79 lead off their vinyl release programme with a white label press of some tunes from the third and latest volume of their ‘Street Bass Anthems’ mix CD series. After a recent string of killer releases, Starkey delivers a real jaw-dropper with is his rendition of ‘Blow Ya Mind’, featuring some of his sickest synth work yet. Then MOVES!!! (aka…?) adds his remix of R. Kelly’s ‘Real Talk’ which has been rocking mixfiles on LowBee and Dubstep Forum. Dev79 follows appearances on Seclusiasis, Slit Jockey, Dead Homies, Sonicterror, Zenapolae, SPB, Akhenation, and more with two refixes, one of Lil Jon ft. Fabo & Gucci Mane’s ‘I’m A J’ and the other Milano ft. Turf Talk & Mistah FAB’s ‘Yes Sir’. Between them they continue to keep the dancefloors raw and sweaty throughout Philadelphia and beyond, with a deep selection of urban beats designed to appeal to DJs rocking everything from bmore to crunk to ghettotech to grime to dubstep subrockers and beyond. Here’s their first chance to drop vinyl for the real, hardworking, vinyl-lugging beat workers. Full respect to the Street Bass massive!
