I really need to have a listen to that Flying Lotus LP even though Brian said he liked it, based on this it must be right good. This is the first 'LA EP' 12" in a series of three, not quite sure what the concept being them is, whether these are remixes or what, but judging it on its own merits this is excellent shiznit. Glitchy, ultra-modern hip-hop the likes of which Prefuse 73 can only dream of at the moment, it shows you don't need to bring in thirty collaborators per track to do the business... Hopefully he won't reach the point where he's run out ideas enough to resort to that kind of dimwittery. Good to know not all of Warp's recent additions are total cack too. You get six tracks of goodness for your fiver, that's value without the cow spunk you get in Kwik-Save burgers and no mistake.
