Micah P. Hinson And The Red Empire Orchestra got a 7" lifted from the forthcoming album. 'When We Embraced' is a pleasant little darkish alt country tune. Short but sweet I reckon this guy is a genuine talent. It's fairly mournful stuff but not to the extent where you'll be looking for the razor blades. The B-side is fairly miserable and all... proper crying into your whiskey gear. May well appeal to folks that dig Will Oldham, William E Whitmore and stuff like that. Ltd 7" on Full Time Hobby. Well Texan.
