Yup, that's right: this Christmas your CDs and DVDs will ship for free no matter where you are in the world. There is one exception: CD boxsets. These are often so big and heavy that it would be suicidal for us to offer free shipping on them. Sorry about that!

We calculate your shipping costs by taking the heaviest item in your order and calculating that at the 'Heaviest Item' price. Each additional item in your order is then charged at the 'Additional Item' price. This keeps your overall shipping costs lower than if we charged the same price per item, especially on larger orders.

We ship all orders in strong packaging.
With vinyl records we take extra care: removing the inner sleeves (where possible) to prevent spine damage, reinforcing the parcel with cardboard, and shipping larger orders in cruciform boxes.
We have to charge extra shipping for some items. For example, a LP on heavy 180g vinyl weighs more than a normal LP. Prices for these items are worked out for you automatically.
Unavoidably, parcels get damaged sometimes.
If your order arrives damaged then you need to claim with your post office. Keep the damaged packaging as proof. All parcels leave here in very sturdy condition and if they do get damaged then it's usually not our fault.
Parcels very rarely get lost. However, it does inevitably happen sometimes and so we always recommend insurance on all valuable orders. Without insurance we cannot be held liable, sorry!
